The good news is not that you have to find your way to God. It is that God came looking for you—and through Jesus, He offers forgiveness, hope and a new life.

Start with honesty

We all knowsomething is broken.

We see beauty in the world—and we also see pain, injustice, shame and loss. We feel that tension in the world around us and inside our own hearts.

The Bible gives us a story big enough to explain both. It begins with a loving God, tells the truth about our brokenness and leads us to the hope found in Jesus. You do not have to clean yourself up before coming to Him.

The Gospel in three circles

This simple picture helps us see where brokenness came from, what God has done about it and how a person can begin again.

God’s Good Design

God made us to know Him, love Him and live under His good rule. His design is life with Him—whole, purposeful and full of peace.

Our Brokenness

We turn from God and choose our own way. The Bible calls this sin. Sin separates us from God, and our attempts to repair life on our own cannot bring us home.

The Good News

God did not leave us in brokenness. Jesus lived without sin, died in our place and rose again. He defeated sin and death and opened the way back to God.

How do we respond?

Turn and trust.Receive new life.

Jesus does not merely offer better advice; He offers rescue. We respond by turning from sin and trusting Him—believing that His death and resurrection are enough, surrendering to Him as Lord and beginning a new life with Him.

Turn from your own way.

Repentance means a change of mind and direction: admitting our sin and turning toward God.

Trust in Jesus.

Faith means resting in who Jesus is and what He has done—not in our goodness, effort or religious record.

Follow Him as Lord.

Jesus begins restoring what sin has broken and teaches us to live within God’s good design.

You can respond today

There are nomagic words.

Becoming a Christian is not about repeating a formula. It is about turning to the risen Jesus with honest repentance and faith. If this prayer expresses what is happening in your heart, you can make it your own.

A simple prayer of faith

“God, I know I have sinned and cannot rescue myself. I believe Jesus died for me and rose again. Forgive me, make me new and lead my life. I turn from my way and trust in Jesus as my Savior and Lord. Amen.”

A prayer does not save us; Jesus saves. We receive His gift by grace through faith. See Ephesians 2:8–9 and Romans 10:9–13.
