This is a luncheon, not a lecture. We will share the story and convictions of CVBC, talk honestly about church membership and make room for the questions you bring. We hope you will make yourself at home.

CV101 is designed to make the membership process clear, personal and unhurried.
Does attending make me a member?
No. CV101 is the first step in the membership process. It gives you space to learn, ask questions and decide whether Chattanooga Valley is the church family where you should belong.
Is lunch provided?
Yes. CV101 is built around a shared luncheon. Please register so we can prepare enough food and accommodate any dietary needs you tell us about.
Who should attend?
Anyone exploring membership at CVBC—including newer guests, regular attenders ready to take a next step and those transferring from another church.
Can I ask difficult questions?
Absolutely. The purpose is honest conversation. Questions about beliefs, leadership, expectations, baptism or the membership process are welcome.
Do I need to read the curriculum first?
No. The curriculum provides helpful depth, but there is no homework required before the luncheon. We will guide the conversation together.
What if I am not yet a Christian?
You are welcome to attend. Because the gospel comes first, we would be glad to talk with you about what it means to trust and follow Jesus.
